(28,592 posts)At age 11 I realized that there were a whole lot of possibilities beyond normalcy which was the prevailing ethos in tv and film. This was FANTASTIC!
When they reissued the first two films as a double bill, I made my mom drive me forty miles to see them. I was enthralled. I bought all the paperbacks and read the two novels serialized in Playboy so I could read them before the paperback editions -we couldnt afford hard back books routinely in those days.
My first and only fandom.

(31,151 posts)Back to Rahab in the old testament.
In WW2 women served in the most dangerous roles imaginable in the British intelligence services and OSS.
Some of them were tortured to death or died in the camps.
Those women served in combat positions when women weren't "permitted" to serve in combat.
That is the point I am making.

(8,035 posts)Then say that directly.
But the point I'm making is that the pic you posted is a complete fake and no plans have been announced to change the character of James Bond from a man to a woman.
