Alexis Wilkins made headlines recently when she opened up in a Fox News interview about her claim that music execs told her to remove the American Flag from her social media.

“I was told to take an American Flag out of my Instagram bio, or that I had to support certain things or do certain things in order to get booked on tours, in order to get signed to a label,” Wilkins told Fox News Digital. “There are things that you ultimately have to give up, and I wasn’t willing to bend the knee to that.”

... makes no sense. Even more suspicious is that a "country music singer" is asked to take a US flag off their Instagram page. I could see music executives telling clients that a Russian flag might not be helpful... but an American flag... for a COUNTRY MUSIC SINGER? I think most "country music" singers would be advised to ADD a US flag to their profiles! Something is dishonest.
