Heads Up: Harry Litman of Bluesky is stating Trump is considering invoking the Insurrection Act.

'Being continually foiled in his efforts to militarize US cities under 10 USC 1206, Trump is now threatening to invoke the Insurrection Act. Can he just get away with it, legally and politically? Looking forward to discussing w/ @jimsciutto.bsky.social on @cnn at 6:35 PM ET.'

The federal law being that ICE cannot do their job based on his executive orders.

With this supreme court anything is possible.
