It's an aspect of White Privilege that's basically water to a fish.

I see my White family members shaking their heads over some wrong doing of a White person on the news, and they may comment on the person's mental health or talk about how they were raised wrong somehow, but their color is never mentioned and the person's behavior is never attributed to some aspect of that person's "culture".
