There was a 24 hour lag in reporting by MSM -
Unheard of in today's world is instant reporting.
When the first reports came out, I kept searching for a source I had some faith in (i.e. not the New York Post, the Daily Mail, or the Hindustan times). Nada. Not just in the allegations it might have been deliberate - but nothing on the fire.
It was around 24 hours after the tabloid speculation that I found a report I didn't inherently distrust.
