What are parents going to do when conversion therapy inevitably fails?

1. Throw Them Out

Kick them out of the house. Or make them so miserable that they run away. Disown them. I've seen it so many times with my gay friends.

Pretty much explains that they doing awful things that drive LGBTQ toward unacceptable endings.

7. It's torture

I don't think the average person knows how extreme this can get. It has included electro shock therapy, sleep depravation, locked into freezing rooms etc. etc.

They want to torture young gay men and women.

8. Practicing "conversion therapy" ought to be an automatic ten year prison sentence.

Twenty years if done for money.

Toss them into the same pit as the child molesters and rapists.

9. Conversion therapy unfortunately succeeds quite well in cowing children into keeping silent and exhibiting

specific behaviors so their parents will stop withholding affection. Which is what the parents want. Control.

In my teens and young adulthood many of my friends, too many now deceased, were queer as all fuck.
