I became aware of DU during the horrible months of waiting to find out whether Al Gore would be our next president.
When the Court Formerly Known as Supreme gave the presidency to W Bush, I had as the profoundly dread-filled feeling as I did when Frump "won" in 2016. It felt as though our country was finished, that democracy would die.

This interview details first-hand knowledge of what happened in 2000-2001, the connections to Kavanaugh and Coney Barrett, as well as rotten Roberts, and gives more context to our current hell.
