A reminder for the upcoming no kings rally
If anyone tries to start violence. SIT DOWN, just sit down to show you are not participating and to make it obvious who is responsible.

NO. Sitting down is worst advice. Dangerous. Deadly. Good way to get trampled for severe injury risk. Bernardo de La Paz Oct 2025 #3

If there is violence, just get the hell out. Bug out. Removing yourself from the scene is the best way to show you aren't participating.

Maintain situational awareness whenever in any crowd, concert, or protest. Keep a bug-out plan in mind and adjust it as conditions change. Watch all the exit points.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
