(34,845 posts)If Moffatt pulls the rug out from under our feet AGAIN, I will be pissed. Sometimes he has these long-running subplots without a clear idea of where they're going to lead.
It can be as bad as Battlestar Galactica sometimes.

2) I got one of these in my Xmas stocking today:

It doesn't talk, though. Just wheezes and such, and the little light goes on and off too. My older son wants one of the Dalek ones. (Good thing he has a birthday coming up!)

(8,646 posts)I've been sad about the Ponds too, but like this new companion. I think my daughter was more excited about Doctor Who today than she was about Christmas because she slept in then opened her gifts quickly and waited impatiently for the Doctor Who marathon to start. Well, at least she'll get to test out her new Dalek alarm clock for Boxing day tomorrow. My non-Whovian daughter isn't excited about the prospect of being woken up to 'exterminate!' LOL.

(4,788 posts)the Lizard Lady that she resented any implications of impropriety because they were married. I tried to watch the Snowmen episode, but I was bummed by the ending of the episode right before it when the Ponds were terminated as companions. Although I did watch up to the point where the Silurian interrogated Clara and then reported back to the Doctor that she had given the correct one word answer: Pond. I'll try to catch it when it runs again.
