I can imagine what those families are going through and it's heartbreaking

4. I'm glad there's more pressure - but military families are no more special than any other family not getting paid

because of this shut down. In fact many of them may be better off because they have access to base housing (with a landlord not likely to kick them out due to failure to pay rent) and commissaries with lower priced food.
