My early morning watching Fox News with my folks

Speculation
Personality driven reporting
Total praise for Trump.

Jared and Ivanka appearing at the huge rallies in Tel Aviv.

Lots of Columbus. Campos (Duffy’s wife) and Jos Piscopo discussing Melania’s movie. The producer and director is making a “big comeback”. Brett Ratner. Massive accusation of rape and sexual assault.

Oh and Piscopo raving about the Columbus Day EO. Maria Bartiromo will be on later to offer her insights.
Because she’s someone the audience knows.

At one point, on the couch, Campos says that maybe the peace in Gaza is why “God saved his (Trump) life in Butler PA”

My favorite was when one cohost followed up on what another host said “…why that segues right into our next story”.

You're with your parents because your brother passed away. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Your parents watch Fox News.

Fox News is destroying our country. I have to go stay with my in-laws soon for a happy occasion - the baptism of a new baby - but I dread the visit because Fox News will be on. Even if it's not on it lives in my in-laws' brains. It is not possible to have a reasonable conversation with them anymore about anything.

There will be a lot of drinking. I expect a family fight like last time. I don't participate in the fights but they're still miserable.

There was no Fox or any TV at all until my wife and daughter left with the dog to go home. Then it was all football. Fine with me. My stepfather and I disagree on college players getting money AND being able to change employers.

I didn’t know there was such a connection with the “news personalities”. At one point some score came up and they said “Ooh Will Cain” won’t (or will - I forgot) like that. I thought they meant someone they know. Nope. They know what this 3rd string waiting for someone to screw up ….or a cabinet position 🙄…. time filler is.

Thanks for making the connection on my brother. Arrangements were made yesterday and I cleared out his apartment today.

I turned off NPR because if I had been playing a drinking game with the word "leadership" I'd be passed out on the floor by now.
