He's Raised Your Taxes

Yes, a tariff is a tax on imported goods and services. Governments impose these taxes to raise revenue, protect domestic industries by making foreign goods more expensive, or as a tool for foreign policy.
A tariff is a tax on the value of an imported product, such as a 10% tariff on a $10 item would add $1 to the cost, bringing the total to $11. So, 50% tariff? 100% tariff?

Yes. So a tariff is a tax.
trump- the tax-raising precedent!

Trade that holds businesses accountable for differences in pay, worker safety, building codes, use of child labor and pollution levels.

This is the third time trump has shut down the government.
This time to give health insurance CEOs and their companies
more money.
But if people don't have the money, it may blow up in their face.
Think about it as if it were a car, now that car is twice the price.
The car company loses customers.
