(27,301 posts)Chicago looks like a great city to visit from photos, articles, etc I've read through decades. There was an intriguing TV series ?Early Edition (only 1 season) about a guy who'd get the newspaper for the next day; and he's be trying to prevent disasters from happening. Took place in Chicago.
As a architecture fan - it a great place for it. Being a bit of a geography fan, I'm fascinated by it being on one of the biggest Great Lakes; as living on Manhattan Island surrounded by water, inland in Brooklyn, and nearish a river into Manhattan - it'd be a new experience for me.
.
It's true I've been down to the Atlantic Ocean by Coney Island m- but it's just mostly low, lower apt buildings not a big city right next to it.
