What is the real reason MAGA Mike is not swearing in the new Congresswoman from Arizona??

He says she deserves to have the Congress in session. But he fails to mention that he gave them another week off and that is the reason they are not in session.

The new Congresswoman would be the 218th vote to release the Epstein files and most folks are suggesting that is why she has not been sworn in? Trump does not want the files released. That much is a given.

But there is probably more to it? Of course Trump does not want the files released but the time off will buy them more time, for whatever reason? Are they searching the files to destroy them, especially the ones with Trump's name in them? Better to be accused of destroying the files than letting them be made public?

Does anyone think they will turn over all the files once the Congresswoman is sworn in?

Congress cannot force the release of the files even if both chambers vote for it. The point of the discharge petition is to force House Republicans to decide if they are more loyal to Trump or to the overwhelming majority of their constituents who want the files released. Needless to say, House republicans desperately want to avoid that decision
