I'm so proud of my state: Major crowds already out protesting "No Kings" this pm in Colorado!

I drove through the college town of Ft. Collins (CSU) this PM and scores of people were out at a major intersection with signs for the "NO KINGS" rally on Saturday--getting quite the head start. There had to be close to 30 people at the intersection where a car lot closed and a pumpkin stand now advertises. Most of them looked like retirees, and I was driving, so I had no ability to take photos, but their signs were great! Even some in Portland-style costumes.

I love it!

Four days early and already out there, so I AM expecting major crowds in Ft. Collins, Boulder, Denver, and dispersed elsewhere! Makes me SO happy to see!

I think we're going to see a lot of inflatable animal costumes! They have become an icon already. Amaryllis Oct 2025 #4
Well, they're cute, they're fun, and they take an edge off the protest. calimary Oct 2025 #6

Helps ease a stressful situation with humor. Hey, how many comedians started out discovering how they could use humor to diffuse a potential problem encounter with some neighborhood ruffian?

Seems pretty clever to me.
