Court blocks transfer of land for Trump library
A Miami-Dade Circuit Court judge has temporarily halted the transfer of land from Miami Dade College to the state for the construction of a presidential library for Donald Trump.
The ruling came after a lawsuit was filed by a group of local residents and activists who argue that the land is designated for educational purposes and should not be repurposed for political use.
The judge's decision prevents the state from taking possession of the property until further legal proceedings determine the outcome.
