So, here is an idea.

If the GOP refuses to govern, why don’t we just declare the government is non-functional, and announce we are holding new elections.

Give everybody 30 days to file and campaign for Congress, and hold new elections in 60 days.

Hell, it can’t be any worse than the existing crew in office. They can’t seem to govern at all.

But snap elections would require a Constitutional Admendment. Personally I want auto renewal onbthe budget, can't make a deal in the Senate, OK we continue the old one with cpi increases. Belgium went quite awhile without a finctioning parlament and their budget and functional government continued.
