Republican Texting Scandal

By now most politically aware people have seen or heard about at least some of the incredibly disturbing text messages between a lot of different Republicans, many specifically associated with Young Republicans of America and TPUSA.

Texts, like pictures, are a snapshot in time. The messaging we have seen is just lifting the curtain a little to get a quick look.
To imply that what is now in the public domain is an anomaly is completely ridiculous.

These people, that said these disgusting things, are not the exception to the rule but are the rule.
You don't have this many people, this comfortable saying those things, in a messaging app, unless it has already been normalized in their organization. On edit: let's also stop calling the people writing these messages as "kids" they are kids. These people are in their 20s and 30s. They are adults and fully responsible for the disgusting bullshit they posted.

Let us also be clear that if that had been "Young Democrats of America" or some comparable national organizations that align with the Democratic Party, that this country would already be on fire by now. The news media would be ripping down the walls of the DNC headquarters with their bare hands demanding answers.
While I give kudos to Politico for running the story, I seriously doubt anyone will make a big deal of this and the news media will pretend it never happened by the end of the week.

Don't be fooled, this is exactly who the Republican Party are, all of them. Elected and just Republicans as a whole.
Truly evil and disgusting people.

He had determined there wasn’t enough racism in America to justify it. Wonder if he still believes that BS.

it's what he wants to see in the world.

What he wants gone is "uppity" people who aren't white, male, and wealthy...he determined that there wasn't enough racism and worked to get more of it.

Many of these Nazis are currently in politics, some are elected leaders in the GOP.

Make no mistake, this is mainstream Republicanism, this is how they talk when they think no one will find out.

Hakeem Jeffries posted pictures of two Rep. Members posing with “Young Republicans” who were part of a racist text thread (as reported by Politico).

In response, Mike Davis (well-connected in Trump World & on the Hill) called Jeffries a “house slave” for George Soros - proving Jeffries’ point.
