A Man Wrote A Book About When Autocracy Comes Knocking At The Door

He was on MSNBC, which gives him some credibility, but I don't remember his name.

I remember one thing he said about what to do when the knocking begins;

Do not listen to people who say everything will be OK.
Do not listen to people who have taken months to come around and finally say there is a problem.

Something to ponder, I could mention names but would get scalded.

Maybe I’ve got them all on ignore…

I have seen many members of the reality based community, myself included, post about the importance of addressing the evils and challenges facing us in the here and now, and not waste time doomposting defeatist scenarios of imaginary dystopian future events that are either unlikely or impossible.

As bad as things are, or may get, don’t forget:

Trump is not omnipotent, and the states and the people are not powerless
