(4,777 posts)Neural plasticity. My experience with it have been enlightening and productive. Whatever deficits you have and I hope they are few but work those areas with intensity. My ongoing experiences are very inspiring.

My stroke is called the Bonnet Syndrome.
Intensity is the magic word.
Best part, I can still drive.

(7,882 posts)It's just what I needed today. Admit I cried through some of it... good memories, tho... and sang my heart out to the song I always called my anthem growing up... "I Am I Said." Being female in the midwest wasn't easy back in those days. Today, these were touchstones I really needed!

(29,744 posts)keep doing your therapy exercises at home please.1 had a friend who had knee replacement thearapy for both knees and didnt finish his exercises , had problems with his knees and blamed the dr. i took therapy for my back and other things and now am able to put on socks without sock helpers and without shoe horns.

I'm glad you're on the mend and will be home soon.
(My rehab had great food, a tired restaurant chef during the week and a Mexican grandma on weekends. I wanted to extend my stay for the food, alone, but they wouldn't let me)
