Can we say that what we're seeing is Capitalism without guardrails? Would that be fair? Because, once you diagnose the illness, it makes it easier for the young to see that regulations and guidelines are necessary.
Don't think this will work? Look what happened to those in Latin America who were victimized by socialism. It became such a boogeyman of a word that just to say it caused them to vote for Trump.
In the end, if we survive as a nation, we will need the young to see the dangers of both extremes.

"Let's fix a broken immigration system," instead of "Stop ICE."
"Let's put guardrails back on capitalism," instead of "Get rid of fascists.
I like it.

(11,282 posts)The guilty will be arrested (eventually), tired (unless they kill themselves first) and ultimately some will be imprisoned and others executed comensurate with their crimes and victims.
For those ordering and carrying out murders at sea and in detention camps and at the border or in our streets, there will be no respite and no defense. If you follow orders as a member of the USA military to fire upon fellow citizens, you will be held to account. Act accodingly.
