WH releases propaganda video of Chicago

The WH released a video in which Mango Mussolini makes the case of how horrible Chicago is right now and how all he wants to do is save it, all while showing scenes of civil unrest and people being arrested. Only problem is none of the video is violence is from Chicago.

A dramatic voiceover video shared by the White House and US President Donald Trump claims to show immigration agents responding to the "mess" in Chicago as the Republican seeks to justify deploying National Guard troops to the Democrat-run city. But an AFP investigation found that the video is littered with outdated footage highlighting drug busts, arrests and deportation raids in other states, including Florida, Texas, South Carolina and Nebraska.

These people are actively engaging in lies and propaganda to manipulate people and barely care if they believe it or not. They just need an excuse, even a obviously BS one.

This is both good and bad. It "good" because it shows we have not completely gone over the cliff yet. Because if we had they would not even care about pretense, they would just do it. They are still trying to find a propaganda line that will give them the justification for martial law but nothing has stuck yet.
It's bad because it shows they are looking for any excuse, even a transparently false one, to engage in totalitarian rule and martial law.

At the end of the day the distinction is academic because the most likely outcome is still martial law...one way or the other.
That is why I think No Kings Day will be a significant inflection point.

I think if there is enough people it will have to give them pause but if we don't get enough people showing up or if it becomes violent in multiple locations, it could only fuel the justification and manifest pee wee German's biggest fantasy of white, male totalitarian rule.
