About Winning Back The House - Our Strategy v Theirs'

Talking about winning back the House. 9 Republican controlled states are planning to redistrict to create more Magat districts.

1 Democratic controlled state is working to create 5 more Democratic districts.

To make matters worse, the Supreme Court may gut the Civil Rights Act with an upcoming ruling that could give Magats 19 additional districts making it next to impossible for Democrats to ever control the House.

The Magat party is the minority party, we are the majority, but it appears that the minority may have found a way to gain control.

GOTV.

Like you said, GET OUT THE VOTE
A (D) Senate can thwart a GOP House just like vice versa.

But I think the odds will still be in our favor once the ACA subsidies expire and the economy spirals into recession.

Wasn't it Texas where they drew the map from Austin and extended it 400 miles into rural Texas to offset the urban Democratic voters?

What they are doing is about math.

However, since then, they've regerrymandered the state.

Austin got Lloyd Doggett back, but the other areas got
screwed over.

Trump May be remembered as “The Great Unifier” for bringing the country (or 80% of it anyway) together to oppose him.

The sneaky thing Magats did under the Big Ugly Death Bill was to make the worst of the cuts take effect on December 1, 2026.

The cutting of Obamacare subsidies will affect, what, almost 5 million people, but the cuts to the rest of our healthcare won't be felt until after the election, and a recession most likely won't happen until after the election.

And inflation will continue to heat up, especially if the Fed makes more cuts.

Unemployment is also ticking up- it could be the perfect storm.

If sec 2 of the VRA is gutted by the SC, - Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, could have all of their Democratic reps ousted.

Louisiana, Georgia, N. Carolina, Texas, and Florida would only have 1 Democratic Rep.

I am hinting here that more Democratic states need to get on board and redraw maps.

Because they get the minority of the votes overall, but, thanks to gerrymandering, hold a slight edge in elected positions.

How'd I do?

There’s only one way to deal with fascists. Sooner or later everyone is going to realize this. It better be sooner because as much as this sucks, later is going to be far, far worse.
