Meghan McCain says she got 'kicked out' of Los Angeles restaurant for being conservative: 'Brutal'

Meghan McCain endured a culinary crisis during an allegedly harrowing visit to Los Angeles, the conservative political commentator, former The View cohost, and unofficial Princess of Arizona revealed in a new interview with Curb Your Enthusiasm actress Cheryl Hines.

The Citizen McCain talk show hostess welcomed Hines — wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — to her digital platform for a wide-ranging chat about her life and career, and how she navigates both criticism and private support she and RFK Jr. receive from the actress' liberal circles in Hollywood.

It is odd to me that some people find it acceptable to just march up to Bobby and yell at him," Hines said of how her husband, who's currently serving as the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services. "For every person that comes up and yells at him, there are probably a thousand people that come up and say how much they love him and want their picture taken with him. It's just an odd place. I've never experienced that before, and that's strange."

McCain took Hines' words as a cue to reveal, "I've been kicked out of restaurants, like, for my politics, and I wasn't doing anything. It's a brutal... actually, it happened in L.A."

Perhaps Republicans should stop being such assholes and they may find more welcomes.

MM doesn’t seem like she suffers in silence. I would think she would have told the world by now.

It's burned down with riots everywhere and all business gone according to her side.

This is most likely a lie becsuse she would have made a huge thing out of it right away if it did happen. Or she did something which she isn't mentioning for why she got kicked out.

Imagine being indicted or abducted and exiled due to your political views.

Or not even because of your views but because of your race or sex or gender.

Public figures who can't stand criticism should avoid the limelight.

Groping the servers? Verbally abusing restaurant staff? Complaining that people at a nearby table were not speaking English? Drunk, disorderly, and belligerent? Insulting people who are not Christian? Threatening to call ICE?

Hearing this, everybody thought: The few steps from your building's door to the back seat of your hired vehicle is not an impressive war zone, Meghan.

But a day without being a victim is like a day without saying "my father."

Is she telling me she and her husband are walking among the locals? More like she heard someone yell something while they were being rushed to a waiting limo surrounded by SS and the other is what she hears at cult gatherings.
