A few thoughts if you're participating in a No Kings protest tomorrow:
1. Keep it peaceful: Folks may come for different personal reasons (healthcare, democracy, education, economy, etc.) Big Tent & Happy Warrior energy!
2. Make it personal: Consider making your signs more personal - how are these tariffs, policies, or shutdown affecting your life, family, or community? These personal messages remind onlookers of the very real effect bad policy has on their neighbors. If you're interviewed, don't just be against the wannabe dictator - tell your story. (Example: "I'm worried about my healthcare premiums...", "As a teacher, parent, local business owner...", "It is because I love my country that I am against..."
3. Stay vigilant. There are bad actors everywhere. Don't engage with folks looking for clicks or trouble.
