Come on PBS it's time to take this seriously

Perhaps I am overreacting, but I just watched the Capehart& Brooks segment on PBS NewsHour. While J.Capehart expressed disgust at the young Republicans Nazi and racist emails that came out. It was still given short shift.
I’m old enough to remember that there was a time that when a large section of the Republican Party was open about their racism and advocating for Nazis along with having a Republican staffer having an American flag with the swastika on it inside a congressional members office that it would’ve been a huge story. Instead it’s 60 seconds and basically shrugged off as nothing. These are adults, not f’ing teenagers.
i’ve mentioned in the past that I’ve been supporting PBS since the 70s and will continue to do so, but it’s really hard to deal with the fact that they are treating the end of our democracy as if it’s politics as normal.
2,900 pages of nazi , racist vile isn’t that something that would have ever been just shrugged off on PBS years past.
It would’ve been delved in extensively.
Perhaps I’m overreacting, but I really think not.
