Don't lose your temper or your common sense; and try to keep a sense of humor at the idiots who no doubt will try to counterprotest us, calling us Hamas lovers, Antifa, and everything else they can think of! Let any media there document THEIR misbehavior.... not ours.

My mental and physical health are not the best, so I will not be there physically.

Indeed, I am such a wreck worrying about everything going on that my guilt over not doing my part is slightly assuaged. As I discussed with my therapist, if I had a panic attack in the middle of today's events it wouldn't do anybody any good.

Over on another thread in the General Discussion forum, I posted Youtube links to cameras showing the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii. There is a certain irony to the fact that I am watching an erupting volcano in the hopes of calming my mind.

I really want to extend my support and respect to everyone putting themselves out there in the cause of peace and justice.

America is a beautiful idea being carried forth by flawed people. No matter how many times we fall short of those ideals, they are still worth striving towards.
