Report from great Minneapolis rally, with photos!

Beautiful day, great turnout (no idea how many people but a big crowd, spread across a park and into streets), joyful vibe, with unicorns, dinosaurs, sharks, frogs, axolotls, oompah-loompahs, and excellent signs! There were bands, singers and a number of speakers, including Sen. Tina Smith, but unfortunately I couldn't hear her speech; I was too far away from the sound system and there was a noisy helicopter. There was also a march through downtown after the rally, but my old knees had started to complain so I didn't stay for that. Here are some photos:

11. Many more people were in the area off the right edge of the photo next to the stadium

and in surrounding streets. The helicopter was buzzing overhead the whole time but they would have had to be higher to get the whole crowd.

Highly recommended! ALL peaceful. All very well-attended. All in agreement. All feeling reassured to see proof that they’re not alone in how they feel. A BIG morale booster if ever there was one!
