Thread for counts of people at No Kings rallies.
In South Paris (Oxford County), Maine, there were 732 people, counted by me walking up the whole line. In june people said there were between 180 and 200.

I counted roughly 75 which surprised me. I did talk to a couple who came down from Greenville and one lady who is moving here from Colorado. Not sure what the press will say but there were several people who looked like they had been rumpers up to some point in the recent weeks.
I bought a roll of survey ribbon, yellow, and passed out long strips for people to put on signs and use as armbands and such.
There were over three dozen marches in Maine this time, about twice as many as in June... Had to go to Bangor for that one.

By far the people driving by were smiling. waving, honking, and here--throwing shakas (on the mainland probably thumbs up)!
The faces and noise were joyous. It was like fresh air and a huge dose of that hope and change Obama used to talk about.
Unfortunately, we will now have to take that new encouragement and resolve and suffer through Donald's revenge. I think he will tell his little puppet, Mike Johnson, to hold the line. After all, it isn't just the Epstein files he is afraid of--it's impeachment or any attempt to remove him.
