The No King protests are encouraging

We will see whether the trump administration or congress gives a damm. These assholes have no sense of shame or decency.

I think the most effective way would be to do it European style, which is not just protest in the street on weekend but paralyze the whole country.

We have the potential to be able to do this. Air traffic controllers for example, could freeze all flights.

Until more Americans really care and get to protest and strike to paralyze the country, nothing will happen. We are quite a way off. I looked it up.

Three times more people attend football games in person each season than the estimated 15–20 million who joined 2020 protest events at some point and this was during the Floyd protests.

Why would they bother showing up to work ?. They can call in sick or resign and find another job. I am sure many of them are contemplating this, given how stressful the job is in the best of times, let alone during a furlough.

We're going to have to shut the country down. I don't want violence.
