Let that sink in America. There are people in hiding. Neighbors are bringing them food so they don't starve to death.

She found the quote by Anne with a (I think it's AI generated) picture of a child being pulled from his home/family. Downloaded it and had it blown up to 24x36. I helped her mount it on foam board and attach to a stick. We took turns holding it at our local (Lakewood CA) protest yesterday. It had many complements and photos taken. There's one on FB, but I don't know how to get it posted here. I tried using the link thing but no luck. But it was pretty appropriate I think.

They took a grocery store employee two blocks away, and others from their homes, and business parking lots.
On a community Facebook page, people were warned to stay inside. Others were offering to pick children up from school, and to pick up grocery orders. Many businesses closed to avoid problems. It was disturbing,
I am 79 years old and my spouse is 74, but we were at the protests on Saturday. I don't know what else to do.

and some of her friends watch a Spanish language church in DC on Sundays for ICE. They run in and warn the congregants when ICE is nearby. That is something that can be done to help out.
