I think the way we choose Supreme Court justices is all wrong.

When I moved to Wisconsin a while back I was surprised to find out that Supreme Court justices are elected rather than appointed. There are seven justices and they serve 10 year terms.

Let's not pretend for a minute that appointing a judge or having them face Senate confirmation is non-partisan. Its extremely partisan. It doesn't take long to find out that potential justices lie their asses off. There is no penalty for lying, apparently.

Did Justice Roberts tell the Senate that he is deeply racist? That he doesn't believe racism exists? That he doesn't find dictatorship particularly offensive? He is a snake. A wolf in sheep's clothing.

This conservative majority is allowing Trump to destroy democracy.

If we get our country back this is the first thing we must fix. We don't need MORE justices. We need justices who believe in upholding Constitutional Law.

Do you want to walk into a courtroom where your opponent heavily contributed to the judge’s election campaign, and you didn’t (or contributed to his or her opponent)?

and we need to make changes there too.

Don't judges in that situation have to recuse themselves?

5. Goota face facts, as far as Supreme Court, we really blew it in 2016. From that standpoint, 2016 was a disaster.

Judge elections might work, but no chance of that passing in my lifetime.

there should definitely be term limits. I would favor 15 years. Certainly no more. If that were the case, we'd long since have been rid of Clarence and Roberts. Not sure about Slimy Sammy because I don't remember who appointed him. And maybe the Chief Justice should be a rotating role of 5 years and they should draw lots.

their retirement is going to disrupt the balance of the court.

Divisions. Tech is advanced, arguments can be done over Zoom or the justices can travel to the SC.

not allow a duly appointed justice a vote in the Senate.

And stupid shit like requiring an elected congressperson to be "sworn in" by the Speaker. But the stupidest shit of all is the electoral college and the undemocratic apportionment of senators. The senators thing gives the bumpkin states, full of dirt not people, way too much power.
