Even after everything we’ve seen from the current occupant of the White House, I just can’t believe that I live in a country where the leader of the nation and the free world mocks protests against him by posting a video of himself wearing a crown and shitting on American citizens. I mean as much as I’ve ever disagreed with many Republicans I never thought they’d stoop to such childish behavior. And to act like he’s the king and shitting on the peasants is quite a message to be sending.

I read that paper every day and I am hyper conscious of any pro-trump sentiment at all. In fact, I LOOK for it, I am suspicious. I don't think they are dedicated like we are but most of what I read there is fairly straight. They do have pro-Trumpers but I can weed them out fast every morning and sometimes go on DU and complain about it.

It (childishly) ridiculed the protest movement using satire to strike at the heart of its message. For his followers it provides humor and makes the protests less serious.
