We don't need a new ballroom @ the White House it already has one. Haven't you seen the movie?

Michael Douglas, Annette Bening, Martin Sheen, Michael J Fox, and Rob Reiner can all testify that
the White House already has a ballroom.

BTW Meathead Rob Reiner.

The White House has a large event space called the East Room, which can accommodate about 200 people for a seated dinner.
The new monstrosity will be a 90,000-square-foot ballroom designed to have a seated capacity of 650 people, more than three times the capacity of the current East Room. Gotta make room for all those billionaire donors!

And if more space is needed they could always have rented more space @ a different venue.

And you are right the ballroom should be called Casa de la Grift.
