Meh, there would have to be some VERY hard political gymnastics performed to have that come about.

It's in the Constitution. Like TSF, Vance could be removed only by impeachment (extremely unlikely) or 25th Amendment (NEVER gonna happen with Vance. Remember, Vance can pack his new cabinet with his own sycophants).

Or if some MAGA loonie takes him out with a rifle.

...we would have a President Vance--but succession in the political sense of being accepted and elected as the new leader of the MAGA movement.

I tend to agree based on previous cults of personality. Once the personality is gone the movement largely falls apart. And Vance is definitely not a charismatic figure.

I do this all the time with Instagram. Click on the x in the pop up that appears and you can watch the video. You're limited in what you can do beyond that but it's sufficient to watch the video. If Instagram didn't allow viewing linked videos, it wouldn't be around very long.

And that's for one simple reason. When it comes time for the GOP primary to roll around, I can't see the Trump family saying "Okay JD. Here's the keys to the whole enchilada. We wish you luck."

Despots like Trump just don't hand over power to outsiders. I think it's likely that Trump will cancel the GOP primaries and declare Eric or Don Jr. as the heir and the 2028 GOP nominee for president. Everyone in the party will fall in line after that.

that the 2025 CABAL will install Steven Miller...........Or if JDVance makes it in, they will force Stevie as the VP, then find some reason to impeach JD Vance, so Steven Miller will be the President. With what we are seeing, and the way things are going, this is as sane a guess as anything out there.

We're in soft secession territory already - West Coast, the Northeast, and Great Lakes territories are already laying the foundation for assuming a hostile Fed, meaning that they are effectively having to function as a independent governments. If Trump declares himself president for life, prevents Democratic delegations from taking their place in Congress, or starts arbitrarily firing Supreme Court and appelate court judges, then I don't see anyway around secession taking place.

I expect this year will be the tipping point. I do not expect that Trump is going to keel over from a heart attack or stroke - he's old, but he's also got the best medical care on the planet.

What comes next will largely be a function of what happens with the military. This touches both on the National Guard and what happens with military bases. My prediction is that a lot of flag officers currently stationed in Blue states are going to be benched while Trump (or Miller, more likely) starts moving "loyal" flag officers into those territories. I'm expecting a lot of slow walking of orders, however, as well as flag and senior staff officers (O4 and above) making their way into state National Guard units. I wouldn''t be at all surprised to see pitched battles between ICE and Natl Guard troops, with police coming in support of the latter.

If that's the case, then we're at a point where succession will be handled by the military, Trump will be arrested, and more than likely we end up in a constitutional convention to pick up the pieces. I also expect at that point you may very well see countries such as Mexico, Canada and countries in the EU possibly intervening (perhaps even China - a separate West Coast would be a god-send for China).

I also think it is likely that at some point Stephen Miller may very well be targeted for assassination, though it will be someone on the right pulling the trigger. If Steve Bannon was the Goebbels of Trump I, Miller is definitely his counterpart this time around, and if Miller falls the strategic brains of this whole f*cked up operation falls apart.

JD Vance is much much smarter than Trump. He’s probably smarter than most of the people that are in Trump’s administration (Trump seems to have a genius for picking really stupid sycophants)— but he has all the charisma of a slug or a bowl of snot. Somehow he manages to be one of the most disgusting human beings that has ever walked the Earth. He is as disgusting as Ted Cruz and good Lord that is saying something.

When Trump goes down either because he dies or somehow gets deposed (dying is much more likely) the knives are going to come out. And I get no sense that JD Vance is the kind of operator that is going to be able to withstand the brutal infighting that will ensue.
