I first blame the SIX on today's Supreme court next is Cannon in Florida. That's all the help he needed.

(34,998 posts)He TWICE prevented the Republicans in the Senate from voting to remove that ratbastard after he was impeached two times. The same goes for said Republican Senators who didn't have the guts to vote for it. The Supreme Court's culpability, along with that of Cannon, Garland, and everyone else, would be moot, if not for them.

(114,672 posts)his two impeachments, and then, yes, Merrick Garland--who slow-walked everything. Those who get upset by his inclusion, he's so far downstream in terms of the list of those responsible, that I think you CAN live with his inclusion. Otherwise, you suggest he had zero role, and that is demonstrably untrue. (And yes, I am one who held out great hopes for him, having known his role in prosecuting Tim McVeigh here in Denver).

ETA: And of course, Merrick Garland who could act in DAYS on President Biden, but gave that orange piece of shit a freaking eternity to do whatever he pleased with sensitive documents.

His slow walking shaped public perception. And justice delayed absolutely turned out to be justice denied.
