Question: Is Trump planning to demolish the entire White House?

ABC News reported, There is some reason he was on the roof on August 5. Trump said he was “just taking a little walk.” The article also referenced that he was inspecting plans for the ballroom and possibly future construction.

The Associated Press reported that although Trump appeared on the West Wing, the White House has said the ballroom will be where the “small, heavily changed, and reconstructed East Wing currently sits.”

We watched in horror how rapidly the East Wing was destroyed. I imagine it would take less than a week to demolish the remaining structure -- especially if it were done at night.

After all, the country is 250 years old, and according to TACO, "Everybody has said the President should live in a house bigger than any other palace place in the world."

Has anyone else considered this, or am I just paranoid?

He's said many times that the WH is in poor condition. Repairs have not been made for a long time.
I think he's lying about that but it will be his excuse to start demolition. He'll replace it with a tacky palace.

Personally, I don’t think the ballroom will be completed before he is gone. Hopefully, what is built will then be torn down and the East Wing will be restored. I don’t think that Trump would dare to destroy the entire White House at one time. That’s a bridge too far, even for Republicans. But I can see him doing it incrementally if he remains.

First, he’d claim that the ballroom is so big that it makes the White House look unbalanced, requiring an equally large West Wing. If he gets away with that, then he could say that the main White House structure now looks dinky and has to be replaced by a mammoth building befitting his stature. The ultimate monstrosity would look like a cross between Mar-a-Lago and Versailles. The exterior would be grotesque and the interior would have spray painted Home Depot filigree slapped on every square inch. He might even erect a giant Colosseum like structure in the form of an MMA ring on the grounds in the back so that he and his fellow billionaires can watch their favorite sport.

18. I think the backlash for the East Wing is going to be tremendous.

I could be wrong, cuz nothing else has agitated the cult, but the optics are terrible. They didn't even try to save anything. My community has a recycle center where builders can donate windows, doors, & other interior items. People would have loved to have East Wing windows. What a fucking waste. Hoping it will jolt the people I used to call traditional conservatives. Not sure what to call them now. Cowardly assholes is what I've been using.
