Why aren't we talking about Jordan Wood for Maine Senate?

He's served as Katie Porter's chief of staff, and she endorses him. So we know he's tough. He knows the congress and uses the language the left loves. Supports Medicare for all and is anti-billionaire. He was also Vice President of the End Citizens United organization. and understands that getting big money out of our political system is necessary and difficult.

The only thing I see against Wood is that Bernie endorsed the guy with the Nazi tattoo.

Well, I really like this guy in just thirty minutes of googling him. Mainers, please pick the guy with the Obama logo tattoo, not the Nazi tattoo.

Know little about Wood or Maine politics. How about Gov. Mills? Porter's endorsement probably doesn't carry much weight Silent Type Oct 2025 #1
I'm not a fan of hers but she has her supporters. rogue emissary Oct 2025 #5

Wood is at 1 per cent in the latest poll Celerity Oct 2025 #9
So we should talk about those leading in a poll . . rogue emissary Oct 2025 #10
I was making no comments on other candidates, I was simply pointing out that Wood at 1 per cent maybe well be a reason Celerity Oct 2025 #11

Compared to Schumer's endorsement, I'd count Wood as being ahead. If I wanted to sink a candidate's campaign, having Schumer endorse them would be my first move.

I like Schumer, but I recognize he's toxic right now.

Not just the controversy over the tattoo and the racist, misogynistic Reddit post. Ever since Bernie endorsed him, Ive seen posts and clips of this guy in my feeds.

No matter how problematic their past?

I'm in Virginia, and watching Jay Jones, who had a problematic past. Who was in the lead in polls and won the Democratic primary for AG. Now, because of three texts from two years ago might lose the AG seat. It is a perfect example of highlighting candidates at 1%. When the leading candidate in a race has a problematic past.
