When people get senile in their old age, their personal quirks often become more exaggerated. Trump has always been an asshole and a bully; now that his brain is turning to tapioca those qualities are especially extreme.

He is too fucking stupid to distinguish reality from whatever his puppeteers and Fox Propaganda have been feeding him. We saw it in his first term, when he was telling us to drink bleach and shove light bulbs up our asses, for instance. It's part of why he's so easily manipulated, and always has been.

They are showing him footage displaced in time and/or location.

Could be footage from any number of other times or places that is being used.

He's dancing on the bad side of dementia's cusp. I think by Christmas, he'll be in full-on Kay Granger 2.1 mode. Tough to point at anything he's said over the past three years they can't point to and say, "see? he already sounded like that! it's normal... for him!"
