If Democrats win back the House, should they impeach Trump again?

The Constitution gave the people's Representatives in Congress the ability to fire any President by way of impeachment. He would need to be convicted in the Senate. Lord knows, he has earned it.

It is not inevitable that we must sit idly by and watch our country be destroyed. The threshhold of high crimes and misdemeanors has certainly been met.

There are those that say it has been tried two times before and it is just a waste of time. Don't throw a life preserver in the water since the country is going to drown anyway.

But, in my opinion, you do what needs to be done and what you have the ability to do, regardless if other folks disagree with you. The conscience of America says that he needs to be fired before something catastrophic happens.

What did you do in the war, Daddy? Did you sit by and do nothing as the psycho narcissist destroyed our country? Why didn't you fire him or ask for his resignation?

If you do not fire him, then you can share the blame with the disgraced Republican Party.

The Supreme Court has made it clear that impeachment is the only remedy for stopping a president who is committing crimes, when they said that the president cannot be held criminally liable for official acts while serving as president.

To be honest, the only problem would be what specifically to impeach him for. The list of corrupt and illegal acts is a mile long at this point.

For example, Jefferies could make it clear that unless all city invasions end, he will be impeached. Having the legislation needed already written spelling out the charges should be done.

Additionally, impeaching RFK jr, Hesgseth, Bondi if there is actually Republican support might also be done given what they have done. It is possible that by then and after an election where (per your assumption) we won the House, it may be that one of these might have enough support.

If we get a Democratic President in 2028, that might be a good time to impeach SCJ Thomas for all his conflicts of interest.

Tie up his power, sue SCOTUS to follow the law instead of politics, dribble out the spending for specific uses, stress test programs that help people.

We are going over a cliff. It could be 40 years before it all plays out and collapses.

There's enough to do without wasting time on performative things. If something comes out that turns some elected Republicans against him, revisit the idea. But doing something that has no impact isn't worth the time and worth giving the appearance of being more hung up on Trump himself than getting things done.

Stranger things have happened, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Impeachment would be pure performative, with nothing gained. Although it would be nice to pin another impeachment on Prez Oaf.

On edit: I posted this in the wrong place but decided to leave it be as-is.

It's the only thing to do. To me, the strategy isn't merely to impeach. It should be build about removal. Don't push for a toothless impeachment. Work the Senate. Get them in a position where they will NOT vote to acquit this time! Impeachment won't be difficult (with a majority of course!) but conviction will be harder and that is what is needed to relieve the American public of this national nightmare.

We have never in the history of this country held the Senate with that many seats. To get there would require convincing enough republicans to vote for it. Yes, we can easily clear the house and impeach, but convicting is a near impossible task.
On the other hand, the whole process could serve to document his many crimes, so it's not without merit.

I know at least once during FDR's twelve years that Democrats held a two thirds majority (in 35 and 36 I believe). But yeah, it's nearly impossible.

Then yes. If there is no chance if convictions and removal in the Senate, then no. Wasting time on on performative bullshit when there are so many other problems to deal with isn't going to help us. We impeached him twice already with zero chances of convictions and guess what? Voters didnt give a shit.
