Why is it that only now - after the demo had been started - and the East Wing is totally demolished that all these Historic Preservation and Architectural Organizations wrote letters - saying that he needed to get approval of his plans - put the project on hold.

That is just too little - too late!!!

When their letters could have helped - they ignored his threats to build this ballroom. Haven't we learned that Tr**p doesn't ask for permission - nor forgiveness.

These Preservation and Architectural Organizations dropped the ball - when they maybe could have made a difference.
