So now a private donor is going to foot military salaries

for November?
And private donors are funding the wretched ballroom. And there are probably other projects that private volunteers are funding.

If we simply taxed the billionaires fairly, then Congress could decide which projects have priority (salaries, SNAP, Medicaid/Medicare, etc) and properly fund those programs. That's the way government is supposed to work.

Contribution to the Treasury?

Unallocated income?

That makes it discretionary?

The "?" aren't rhetorical. Honestly don't know statute and case law.

14. The rich are not funding the US military or building a new White House for fun.

Or because they are loyal to the US and love democracy.

They expect a return on investment.

Having the US military in your pocket is quite an achievement.
As is owning the White House. Literally.

Prudent decision on the part of the rich.

…as an anonymous multi-million dollar wire transfer.
And it’s pretty unlikely that a dump truck full of cash just showed up on the White House lawn.

“Anonymous” means the Trump cabal knows exactly WHO is paying them off
but they’re not going to say. Because high crimes and misdemeanors and shit.
