Evanston is a sanctuary city under the Welcoming City Ordinance, meaning that the city and the Evanston Police Department do not collaborate with federal immigration authorities.

It’s such a nice mix of people and it’s beautiful. I hate that ICE is in that part of Chicago. Pisses me off.

he’s been out there fighting ice from the jump. been at broadview many days.
i did some door knocking for him in his 1st election w dfa. he’s jan’s choice to succeed her. he’s got my vote, and a little of my money.
