Defeatist Doomerism proclaiming with certainty that Trump will remain in office for a third term, will cancel elections, will implement nationwide martial law (all physically impossible) does nothing to help us face and fight the actual atrocities occuring daily.

Defeatist Doomerism helps the fascists by demoralizing those who would rise up against this fascist regime.

We must never forget this one absolute truth:

Trump is NOT omnipotent, and the states and the people are NOT powerless

That's always been the Left's problem in the USA. No coherent strategy. No leaders being groomed to take us forward.

It's easy to say that the people have the power. Another matter altogether to make it happen.

Indivisible.org has tons of resources for individual action as well as community organizing.

At the very least folks can call or write (don’t bother with email) their elected representatives, even if they are republicans- their staff log and tally the contacts.
