Democrats truly believe that if Republicans win, they (dems) dont eat.

(14,307 posts)The Republicans at the Capital are scared of Donald and his goons. We the People need to rise up and remind them they work for us and Donald needs to lose his hold over them by doing their jobs, swearing in our reps, and bringing articles of impeachment/removal against their master. The Speaker should be replaced as well. This stalemate in Congress is allowing Donald to rule, so he's happy to keep it that way.
If we all suffer, he couldn't care less--in fact it probably makes him sadistically gleeful.
Hell as an afterlife punishment is only real to those who believe in it and fret because of it. They all need to live in a state of 'hell' now by relentless pressure of the People that overrides the fear of their leader/master/the Don.

Typical Limbaugh quote though. Seeking to divide us. He was truly the herald of Trumpism.

(10,438 posts)I saw by reading its Wikipefia entry that the security guard who discovered the tape over the lock, was played by the actual guy who did so. Btw, A black man.
The whole movie reinforced the perception of Republicans as greedy crooks.
Excellent movie. Rotten Republican Party.

(90,775 posts)that hed dead. Took too long to get there, though, considering how long he was able to dominate the airwaves. I NEVER saw, or understood, what the appeal was. Even when I was working on the air. NEVER got it. To me, he was never anything but a turn-off.

(12,528 posts)Rush wasn't denying it it was mockery to show his disdain for the idea that they would vote in their own best interests. In fact, a healthy democracy depends on exactly that. Emanuel Kant once said that even a society of devils could govern themselves peacefully with a democracy if they voted for their own self interests and granted all others that same right. Rush just didn't like democracy he preferred authoritarian oligarchy to make sure the "right" people got their way. Same as it ever was.
