GOP senators disconcerted by possible $230M Justice Department payout to Trump

Reports this week that President Trump is demanding the Justice Department pay him $230 million in compensation for wrongful prosecution are making Republican senators uncomfortable amid the 24-day government shutdown.

GOP senators, including members of the Judiciary Committee, don’t know how to respond to the story, which broke Tuesday in The New York Times, that Trump is seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages from the Justice Department and that his former defense lawyer is in a position to sign off on the settlement.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a senior member of the Senate Judiciary panel, which has oversight of the Justice Department, said while Trump may be entitled to some compensation, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche should not be the person signing off on a settlement, given his ties to Trump.

“He shouldn’t decide, because he’s his former lawyer,” Graham said when asked whether Blanche should recuse himself from the decision on whether to pay Trump for damages related to the investigations of former special counsel Jack Smith.

Supports a trump third term, being an ex Jag Officer, you would think he gives one fuck about laws. But he loves the shroom and the spores he snorts Dailey much more than this what was once a country, of and for, The People, not trump and Putin. Graham is gleefully a traitor of America, he should be stripped of veteran status and benefits.
He is like an old minimally toothed Matty eyed Chihuahua, yapping and growling like he is some kind of bad ass. Put a shock collar around his neck, make it operable from our cell phones.
Every time you shock him a $25 donation is made to Dem Messaging committee.
A man can dream still, can’t we, or is that a crime worthy of ICE torture?

Okay, let's look at the situation.
Government is shut down, people aren't getting paid, kids and elderly are losing food, housing, and medical assistance, and Winter is Coming.
The cost of just living for the average person has gone up significantly.
Lots of people will lose their livelihoods, if not their lives over the next two months if the Government remains shut down (Unemployment rule of 3's: 3 days to make up for one day's loss of income, 3 weeks to make up for one week's loss of income, 3 months to make up for one month's loss of income...)
And *rump is trying to walk back saying his main concern is His Ballroom, which now will cost $500 million "from private donors" (yeah, right...) and, oh, BTW, he wants about half that amount of Taxpayer money because he was still in the middle of being investigated by the DoJ for several felonies he managed to close down once he got himself re-elected...
The optics are clear; he's a dictator, he is acting like the Country, including all taxpayer funded organizations and institutions, as well as the taxpayers themselves, are his to do with as he pleases.
He doesn't care about who he hurts - doesn't even consider it important enough to consider - he just wants, and if you don't give it to him, he's just going to take it or destroy it if you tell him no.

Because it suggests they're not sure what to think about this. Concerned suggests they have an inkling thus might be wrong.
But, these idiots are unsure.
How it's possible that one can't even form an opinion about this is the mystery here.

Disconcerted is what I get when I find just 6 Junior Mints in a little Halloween box. Normally, it's 7 or 8.. That's disconcerting.

What Trump is doing is downright maddening and frightening.

Republicans...feh....
