but in most places, if a tenant destroys the landlord's property, or makes changes without approval, he is responsible for the cost of restoration.

We need to get the costs of repairs taken out of Trump (or his estate).

I'd say we should make the demolition company tear down the Epstein Ballroom gratis for restitution of performing non-permitted work, but they'll probably be out of business by Christmas.
