have no desire for meaningful reforms nor do you have any interest in any real discussion that doesn't fit your warped anti-gun mindset.

Sorry, but your comments make it pretty clear that you haven't made any honest effort to take note of any positive contributions by gungeoneers. But hey, if your ranting makes you feel better, who am I to criticize?

However, I certainly don't have to read any more of it...bye bye!

Damn, my ignore list has gone from 2 to 33 in a week...

And we need something to be done with people that love their guns more than life itself. You obviously don't want any kind of discussion, so I will leave you to waller in your own self-righteousness.

I don't think registration/restrictions will stop the violence. I know better than that. But it should be part of the conversation. I agree that the access to weapons is only part of the huge problem. But it should be a very serious part of the conversation.

Here in WI we have had 2 mass shootings this year. One was a DV case in which he was restricted from owning, but bought through private channel, so the sale was legal. Just this week, a former Marine with PTSD is being held for shooting his police officer wife 9 times: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1014348240

I just think we should DISCUSS what we can do to make it harder for people to shoot each other.

Most Democrats feel that way. Yes, there are some who want to repeal the 2nd amendment and ban all guns, but FFS, there are the extremes in the other direction as well.

The good news is that we are talking about it. And maybe, just maybe we can all chill the fuck out and have a conversation that results in action.

maybe

I haven't met many gungeon denizens willing to have a rational discussion about meaningful reform.

certain NY counties. They are complaining about something they say is not a problem: that guns are stolen from houses of gun owners as a matter of fact and those guns are often used in crimes later. Why else would they complain?
