ALL THE SMOKE is a popular sports podcast (over 1mil subscribers) with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, both prior NBA players. This was a huge pull that they got Gavin and the interview was great. Gavin is relatable which I hope he does more of these discussions, he was real and being himself while sounding the alarm. Cool interview, he even dropped F-bombs, too funny. Apologies if this is supposed to be posted somewhere else.

2. He needs to do more of this stuff

the problem i see for Newsom in an upcoming election is that he comes off too polished and too much like your standard cookie cutter politician. Honestly as a country we need to return to something like that instead of buffoons that you can have a beer with that the electorate seems to want to elect anymore. This stuff helps him break through into that more.

3. Just finished watching this. A+

This is definitely worth the time because we get a fuller look at Newsom as the man, not simply the politician. A lot of info revealed on the man's background (he was not raised with a silver spoon in his mouth), his life could have gone in a quite different direction, he credits his mother, his love of sports and Willie Brown for his opportunities and he's determined to fight Trump in any way necessary.

I know a lot of people take swipes at Newsom but here he's a natural, fully human, articulate, passionate even in a relaxed setting and calling on the country to rise, to fight, to stay committed. I came away with a whole different perspective on the man.

He is a contender! In a very good way.
