Trump's response is to tariff Canada even harder, with 10% more added on now. This will only exacerbate the problem and accelerate his downfall. Trump is doomed.

1. "Free Trade!" used to be the motto of the Republican establishment. The bedrock of conservatism.

Now-a-days I don't know what the hell the conservatives believe.

I don't think they know, either.

I think they just wait for someone to tell them what to believe.

2. And Obama and H Clinton's efforts at trade agreements propbably cost us 2016, as even Democrats were against

their trade agreements, preferring to keep jobs here.

Democrats and unions have been railing against trade since at least the 1990s. The UAW just anointed trump for his tariffs.

Think we should be opening up worldwide trade-- if for no other reason than we are one little country in a big world and ve probably stolen/taken/bought more of a share in world resource.

Now, all the sudden Democrats are against what many have called for in past. trump has turned this world around.

Absolutely oppose trump's use of tariffs to bully the world. It will hurt us long-term.
